The Preserve at Crooked Run is seeking a Director of Experiences to facilitate activities, events, and lodging in a newly renovated community in Virginia’s Blue Ridge just outside of Roanoke. The stunning outdoor atmosphere is anchored by a glistening 5-acre lake, a spacious event hall, an open-air pavilion, and a lakeside infinity swimming pool.

                In addition to the private event facilities, the Preserve at Crooked Run features water sports, Orvis wingshooting grounds, fishing, trails for walking, hiking, and biking with vista overlooks, boulder fire pits, and games such as disc golf, bocce and more.

Sales and Operations Duties

• Manage the development and execution of contracts for events, activities, overnight accommodations for clients and guests
• Conduct prospective tours and client walk-throughs
• Meet and work collaboratively with vendors and maintenance teams, others as needed
• Manage the development and execution of standard operating procedures
• Schedule the Preserve’s part time employees
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and drive revenue
• Conduct research and maintain knowledge of competitive set
• Maintain website and social media channels
• Keep facility, equipment, and inventory stations clean and organized; maintain pars
• Tour and inspect facilities regularly, reporting necessary repairs or concerns
• Monitor feedback and make continuous improvements to enhance overall satisfaction
• Effectively resolve & log guest service opportunities
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
